Granada CF had an unusual season, without exciting its fans, but without disappointing them by securing permanence in the silver category of Spanish football. The team had standout moments and disappointments, but Pacheta will remain in charge next season. Luca Zidane, the Algerian international, was the first to be criticized for the team's poor season. The Franco-Algerian had moments where he was the undisputed starter, above the young Ander Astralaga, who was relegated to the role of second goalkeeper due to his bad luck with injuries and poor performances when he was healthy. In his 27 games - 26 in the league and one in the cup - he conceded 33 goals and only managed to keep eight clean sheets. He left little security in the goal, but did not have problems returning to the starting lineup and ending the 25/26 season as the starter, as Astralaga left worse impressions in his final games as a red-and-white player. Manu Lama, the young central, was one of the top players in Pacheta's team. He has 25 years, but seems experienced. However, like everyone, he had his bad performances, committed two penalties and took six yellow cards and one red card throughout the season. The most notable thing about Manu Lama was his undisputed starting position and the three goals he scored against Córdoba CF, Real Valladolid, and Real Sociedad B. In addition, he added 2,999 minutes on the field, being the player who played the most minutes in the final season. Pau Casadesús, the Barcelona player, was one of the biggest disappointments of the course: he signed for Granada from Andorra and as one of the stars of Primera Federación for the right-back, but his poor performance made him play 1,513 minutes, spread over 27 games - 25 in the league and 2 in the cup - of which he was the starter in 15. Facing the opposing goalkeeper, his only contribution was a goal in La Rosaleda to mark the 2-2 final. Leaving little participation in the offensive area, but having 22 years and being his first experience in professional football could have been worse. Casadesús was also affected by having fallen injured in February during the two months that followed. Diego Hormigo, the Sevillian, is another of the young players of this Granada. He signed for the team after not having opportunities in the club where he was formed, Sevilla. Under Pacheta's command, he participated in 24 games - 21 in the league and 3 in the cup - where he scored against CD Roda and saw a red card against Real Valladolid. He still has 23 years and a talent to be exploited, but the coach must bet more on him in a specific position so that Diego Hormigo can gain confidence in himself in professional football. Oscar Nassei, the Ghanaian, was another of the undisputed for coach Pacheta. Nassei played 37 league games and only in three did he come out from the bench.
