Granada CF aims to start shaping its squad for the 2026-27 season. The rojiblanco team, which last year arrived in mid-September with the team still to be completed, seems to have learned from the scare it took this season and wants to avoid repeating those bad omens by working since last May on the creation of a competitive, low-cost, and young team that can give many happy afternoons to the granadino fans next season. With only thirteen players on the roster, since many will end their contracts, terminate their loans, or have their transfers become effective (in the case of Loïc Williams), Granada CF has a lot of work to do and little time to waste as the club will have to close around ten operations, between signings and loans, to complete the squad and cover any possible absence that may occur given that the team trained by Pacheta has players like Manu Lama or Luca Zidane who have a lot of market ahead of them. The two first figures in which the sports management has focused are Moha Bassele and Koné, players from Antequera and Ceuta CF respectively, who meet the requirement of young players with projection that could arrive in Granada with little investment. The first one in which Granada focused was Koné, a Marfileño winger from Ceuta who ends his contract with the Caballa team next June 30th and who, according to sources from the autonomous city, has already informed AD Ceuta that he will not continue in the North African entity due to having advanced conversations with Granada CF. Koné has been a key piece in the Caballa team this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists in the 34 games he has played this season. Moha Bassele is the second player for whom Granada has shown interest. Although the rojiblancos have not yet moved a finger, as they have done with a Koné who could be the first summer signing of Pacheta's team, the Diario 'Ideal' points out that Granada would have been interested in the situation of the Antequera striker, who has one year left on his contract. The player has had good numbers, 10 goals and 3 assists, in Primera RFEF this season, which has led Granada to focus on him and seek to repeat the formula of success that has already worked with Pedro Alemañ or Izan González.
